It all started with my love for dogs and everything about them.
After moving to a beautiful rural location with plenty of room to wander, I watched my own 'city slicker dogs' revel in the freedom they suddenly had. They seemed so much happier and contented than I had ever seen them... I just wished they smelt better at the end of the day!
I dreamt of being able to share the country experience with other furry friends and give them a place they could also come romp and roam, and then go home happy, tired and clean!
After training in professional dog grooming, I knew there was an opportunity to open a small boutique style facility that would not only give dogs a chance to play and socialise, but also to send them home to their owners beautifully groomed and cared for.
Keeping 'The Dogs House' small enables one on one time, more attention to detail in the grooming process plus the opportunity for me to interact and play with the dogs in daycare. I pride myself on the quality of my grooms and the smiles on both the dogs and owners faces at the end of each day.
The success of the business comes from the fact that I genuinely love what I do!
